On 25 November, the University will be holding a special event to mark the centenary of the First World War, led by the Chancellor, Mr Tom Bloxham and the President and Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dame Nancy Rothwell. The event will mark the impact of the War, the University’s contributions and all those whose lives were affected and lost. It will feature readings from staff and students, original music composed and performed by current students and opportunities for reflection. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
