To celebrate Open Access Week (October 20-25th) the library recently hosted an Open Access Seminar providing an opportunity for academics and researcher support staff to learn about Open Access at Manchester, including new policies, funds and developments. Details of the presentations plus videos introducing Open Access are available from the Open Access website.
Sage Research Methods / Sage Research Methods Cases
Sage Research Methods contains content from over 720 books, dictionaries, encyclopaedias and handbooks. Researchers can explore methods concepts to help design research projects, understand particular methods or identify a new method, conduct their research and write up their findings. SAGE Research Methods Cases provides real-life examples of how research is actually conducted, to help users understand those methods concepts – which might be theoretical or abstract. Users are able to search for cases by subject area, academic level and methods used. Additionally, each case includes learning objectives, exercises and questions and keyword tagging
