I write to you from the School of Arts, Languages, and Cultures in relation to a conference we are running in May – ‘The Ethics of Nature, the Nature of Ethics’. The conference is philosophical/theological in origin, but we’re hoping to attract some papers from students/postdocs etc. in disciplines that relate to the environment, public policy etc. as it might offer the conference an interesting dimension.
I attach the call for papers and poster here, and I would be very grateful if you could circulate in your networks, particularly to those who might be interested in submitting an abstract. It would be great to get some SoSS people involved. I hope they won’t be put off by the philosophical nature of the blurb – know that we will consider abstracts that are based on environmental planning, ethics, political perspectives, etc.
