Call for Abstracts: SEED 2015 PGR CONFERENCE – “Making Social Impact”

The annual PGR Conference aims to bring together Postgraduate Research students at SEED. It provides a unique opportunity to present student’s on-going research to a multidisciplinary audience. This year PGR SEED conference with the theme “Making Social Impact” is scheduled to take place on Monday, 18th May 2015.

We invite all PGR students from Architecture, Geography, Planning, IDPM, and MIE to submit an abstract for presentation. The submitted abstracts/papers will be clustered on the basis of research themes and will be presented in the allocated session. The members of academic staff across SEED will chair the sessions.

The abstract should be up to 300 words with the title, name, discipline, and a list of 3-5 keywords. We welcome a wide array of topics and we highly encourage you to apply for your place regardless of your research stage.

Abstract submission can be sent to with the subject “Abstract – (Name) – (Abstract Title)” before 27th March 2015. Please kindly save your abstract in the following format: (Full Name)_(Department)_(Abstract Title). For example: Jiawen.Xia_IDPM_HumanResource

**Photo submission

All the students across SEED are invited to participate in the photo competition. The photographs are expected to feature a place, object or activity of importance to you as a researcher. The photographs must comply with the university regulations and should be sent to no later than 15th April 2015.

**Important deadline:

Abstract submission: Friday, 27th March 2015

Photo submission: 15th, April 2015

Full-paper submission: 8th May 2015
