ESOF 2016 Call for Proposals – Deadline 10am 1st June

As you are aware the EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) takes place from 23-27 July 2016 in Manchester. ESOF is a biennial, interdisciplinary, pan-European, general science meeting and is seeking session proposals for its Science programme of seminars, workshops and debates on the latest research and related policy issues and the University is keen to ensure that there is a strong representation from Manchester in the final programme. The deadline for proposals is 10am on 1st June 2015 and all submitted proposals will be reviewed and assessed by the ESOF 2016 Manchester Programme Committee. The Scientific themes are:

· Health populations
· Materials dimensions
· Sustaining the environment
· Turing legacy – data and the human brain
· Far frontiers
· Living in the Future
· Bio-revolution
· Science for policy and policy for science
· Science in our cultures

Each standard session will last 1 hour and 15 minutes and you are encouraged to make your session(s) as interactive as possible. Details on how to submit a proposal are available at
