The Tutor Trust is currently in the process of recruiting bright, enthusiastic people to work as English, Maths and Science tutors in Primary and Secondary schools throughout Greater Manchester. All schools that we work in are accessible by public transport from Manchester city centre, and as a charity, we particularly want to serve schools in disadvantaged communities.
The Tutor Trust has been delivering tuition in Manchester since February 2012. We have now worked with over 9,000 children in over 150 schools in Greater Manchester. In the 2015/16 academic year, we are expanding our service to work with more schools and students.
As a tutor, you will develop new and existing skills and will have a unique opportunity to gain paid classroom experience whilst making a real positive difference to the lives of young children in Manchester. Tuition takes place at different times of the school day, and as such is flexible to be fit around your University timetable.
In addition to paying you a minimum of £12 per hour of tuition completed, we will make sure that you are properly trained, DBS-checked, insured and professionally supported throughout your time as a tutor with us
Applicants must have a minimum of a GCSE grade A in the subject they wish to tutor, or superior/equivalent qualifications.
