Placement opportunity with Manchester Histories

Development of a workshop and toolkit for community groups about robust research for histories and heritage

With support from Professor Hannah Barker, the role will be working alongside other heritage professionals to create the Robust research element of a series of toolkits and workshops as part of Manchester Histories’ (MH) Heritage Lottery Fund supported Hidden Histories, Hidden Historians project. The toolkit and workshop will be created in consultation with community groups who are working intensively with MH to develop new models of engagement for communities. They will be used to provide support and assistance for groups who want to develop their own community histories projects.

The first workshop needs to be ready for delivery during Manchester Histories Festival in June 2016 and the second repeat session will be in November 2016.
